Types of Resorts' Room in Pahang

This will be our last resort for types of rooms review. I hope that you guys will have some information regarding the resorts in east coast after my last review. Thank you guys :)

     shower and a long bathtub with hot and cold running water.

Now, let us take a look at types of room offered in each resorts that I have stated in the earlier post in Kelantan.

Elements Define a Resort

So, not to waste time, this entry is designed to exposed people about elements that define a resort. Below are the details :)

1.Location

   Most types of resorts can be found in most destinations around

   the world. These are the factors in choosing a resort location:

• A developed or undeveloped part of the world.
• Proximity to major populations.
• proximity to wealth.
• Ease and cost of transportation

2.Weather

   Weather is another key element in defining a resort destination.    Resort traveler want to get away from cold winter weather and be    able to enjoy a warm, moderate climate and be able to relax and      enjoy the many recreational and cultural activities offered at      resorts. 

• Seasonality. Weather at resorts is defined by seasonality. Resorts are the busiest in high season and command high rates for their rooms and activities.

• Warm and cold climate. For warm weather resort destinations, winter is the time of moderate temperatures and plenty of sunshine that is a welcome relief for guests from cold weather locations.

• Desert, beach, tropical, mountains or hot springs. These different resort destinations offer a different weather experience for guests. The vegetation and setting is also different offering different experiences and activities.

• Rainfall. The amount of rain and the time of year that it falls are important elements when considering a resort destination. Chances are if the sun is shining, you will be able to participate in most resort activities.

3.Geography

   Geography can be the main reason to visit a resort destination.      Geography most often is an added highlight to an attractive 

   resort destination.

• Leisure activities. Perhaps the best example are the many beaches that provide guests the opportunity to relax and enjoy the water, sunshine and looking for sea shells.

• Challenging activities. River running, mountain hiking, parasailing, scuba diving are examples of more challenging activities that rely on geography to provide guests with challenging activities.

• Unique activities. Historical ruins, cultural festivals, and unusual plant or animal life offer resort guests different and one of a kind experiences

4.Culture and History. 

   The world offers a countless variety of cultural and historical

   experiences for resort travelers. These events can be the main

   purpose of visiting a resort destination or merely another 

   activity to experience research and activities.

• Anthropology and ruins of ancient civilizations. These activities offer guests the opportunity to go back in time and view or experience life in another time. This includes genealogy and ancestry research and activities.

• Festivals and ceremonies. As part of the resort experience, many destinations provide access to traditional festivals and ceremonies that define their culture and history. Sometimes these events are provided for the guests experience and scheduled for their convenience.

Types of Resort

I pray that you guys will stay healthy all the times. :)

So, this entry is purposely created to explained further about the types of resorts that we should know for our basic knowledge. Before I proceed with the entry, there is something come up in my mind which is my belief. Before I decided to do a blog on resorts, I believe that resort is only about hotel located near the seaside. I have been grown up with such belief because in my hometown, Terengganu, most of the well known resorts are located near the seaside and that is where my belief starts. How many of you did realize that there were various types of resorts listed ? Not much right ? So now I would like to introduce to you the types of resorts exist in this world.

1. Island resort

A island resort is an island or an archipelago that contains    resorts, hotels, restaurants, tourist attraction and its amenities.

2. Seaside Resort

• Seaside Resort is located on a coast. It is a coastal location specializing in catering for holidays or vacation.

3. Ski Resort

• Ski resorts are towns and villages in ski areas, with support services for skiing such as hotels and chalets,equipment rental, ski schools and ski lifts to access the slopes. Ski resorts are popular in Europe and North America. However, there are no ski resort in Malaysia as Malaysia does not have the winter season.

4. Destination resort

• A destination resort is a resort that contains, in and of itself, the necessary guest attraction capabilities

5. All-inclusive Resort

• An all-inclusive resort charges a fixed price that includes most or all items. At a minimum, most inclusive resorts include lodging, unlimited food, drink, sports activities, and entertainment for the fixed price.

Introductory

Peace be upon you .

As for the introduction, i will first explain a little bit about resort and the background generally. First and foremost, i have a question that i wanted to point out. What makes a resort ? It is an interesting question that even one of you never considered before. For your information, the term "resort" is used for a self-contained commercial establishment which attempts to provide for most of a vacationer's wants while remaining on the premises in North American English. Furthermore, the term may be used to identify a hotel property that provides array of amenities and typically includes entertainment and recreational activities. However, a resort is not always a commercial establishment operated by a single company, although in the late twentieth century this sort of facility has taken place among the people and became more common. Bear in mind that a resort isn't just a hotel and it isn't just a hotel with a restaurant and a pool. Resort has a very broad definition which is somewhere you go for rest and relaxation that provides a number of amenities such as hotel, dining, entertainment and more. In addition, a resort is a place where you can go and essentially have everything you need to rest, relax and enjoy yourself without having to go anywhere else.

From a very short explanation above, I believed that most of us has already get the ideas of the meaning of a resort. Now, a question that i should point out is, what is your belief about resort ? Is it only about a hotel placed located near the seaside ? Should I say that you guys have a very typical belief regarding resort as I do ? Stay tuned for more information people. Lets begin !

Peace be upon you . Hello people. 
I am Nor Hajartul Asyikin from Mara Professional College Indera Mahkota, Kuantan, Pahang. This is my fifth semester as a student of Diploma in English Communication. So, the existence of this blog is due to the requirement in fulfilling the assessment for the subject, Digital and Mobile Communication. The topic that has been chosen by me is Resorts in East Coast, Malaysia which includes three states in east coast, Terengganu, Kelantan, and Pahang. The reason in choosing this topic is because I am from east coast as well which is Terengganu, studying in Pahang and most of my relatives and friends are from Kelantan. Also, my interest towards staying in resorts has also influenced me to choose this topic for this blog.
